Life passes us by so quickly, doesn’t it?  It’s so easy to think we’ll get to that thing-we’ve-always-wanted-to-do… next week, when there’s more time. Or next month. Or next year.

Easy, too, to push our creative needs to the back burner – since they don’t seem urgent. But they are. 

In my own life, I try to remind myself that my intentions form my decisions, my decisions form my actions, and my actions form my life.

In the end, I want to know that I lived creatively, and celebrated the gift life is. I believe creativity has the power to change our lives, to deeply ground and calm us, and to heal many of the wounds laid on our souls by the stresses of modern life.

For me, it comes to this: I don’t have time to not be creative.
